It is commonly accepted that New York is one of dreaming cities of people all around the world. This city was compared as headquarter of the world in terms of economy, politics and so on.
So, today I will take u guys to be exposed to New York city with me.

It's NEW YORK CITY
I think everyone know that in today's world English is one of indispensable factors in people's lives. I,therefore, would like to develop my English in better way. I decide to take summer course in the US. But, I cannot make a decision which state should I go. Finally, I got the answer which belong to New York. Surely, this journey is going to be challenging experience for me.

Later, I transfer from Hong kong international airport to JFK airport which take time almost 15 hours. Eventually, I arrived at New York city on 21 May 2016. Anyway,I still remember that I'm so excited to experience this city. New York city is the state the Northeastern in United states which is bordered by New Jersey and Pennsylvania to the south and Connecticut, Massachusetts and Vermont to the east.It can be said that New York is the most populous city in United States since New York is called as a global city of our world, exerting an important impact upon commerce, finance, media, art, fashion, research, technology, education and surely entertainment. New York city is also an significant centre of international diplomacy and was separated in to four parts consisting of Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and Bronx. There are several landmarks in New York city such as Times Square, Central Park, Financial district, Grand central terminal, Statue of liberty.Are u ready for this journey?? Let's go!!
As I mentioned above I choose to study in New York to improve my English, so I attend to Hunter college which located at 68th Lexington Street in Manhattan. This school provides several courses such as academic skills of english, toefl course and even film studies. Personally, I take academic skills course which consist of writing, reading, grammar and surely oral skills. Besides, in my class there are many nationalities such as Turkish, Taiwanese, Columbian and so on. We have time together almost 10 weeks. It's been a great summer.

Let's talk about tourist attraction!!
- Times Square-
The first place that everyone HAVE TO visit is Times Square. It is undeniable that Times Square is a major commercial intersection and neighbourhood in midtown Manhattan, New York city. In Times Square is filled of billboards and advertisement. Many tourists from around the world love capturing Time Square's atmosphere at night. This is mostly because the lights from the billboards at night are amazing. Moreover, my recommendation if you guys would like to experience foods at Times Square, you don't need to go to expensive restaurants. The street foods is so goods especially Halal food such as chicken over rice. I don't have any word to describe how good it is. You have to experience it once!!!! |

-Grand Central Terminal-
One of landmarks that you should visit is Grand Central. Go Go Go to Grand central and just experience it!! Grand Central Terminal is the most beautiful station in New York city. It has a good combination between beauty of architecture and functional of building. Moreover, in this terminal it also has big Apple store which you can enjoy shopping the electronic gadgets. Also, don't forget to visit Shake Shack downstairs. Shake Shack is the most popular hamburger in NYC. Hence, going to Grand Central terminal and watching people going about their everyday life is a representation of this city itself.

- Central Park-
Central park is an urban park in middle upper manhattan. It's a nice place to exercise and picnic with friends. When you are in Central park, you will feel so relax and fresh. This is because it's pretty calming and relaxing to feel like you are out of the city while you are still being in it. When I finished my class, I always go to central park since it's a nice break to stop all of craziness from the city. Also,it has lots of entertainment and even central park zoo. Personally, central park is one of the best things that I really like in New York city.
